Reasons why I think Hinata is dead:
- * The purpose and intention of Pein is to show Naruto the pain of witnessing the death of someone important, “This is just like how my parents are killed by Konoha ninjas, right before my eyes”. Pain wanted Naruto to experience the trauma and the pain.
- * This is Pein we are talking about, the only character who is a perfect match for him is Sage Mode Naruto. All those who tried to confront Pein ended up dead (ex. Sage Pa Frog and Ma Frog). Hinata, just a mere Shinobi – confronting Pein is suicide. There is no way Hinata can survive Pein’s attack.
- * There is no reason why Pein will not kill Hinata. He is mean, he killed his own master, Jiraiya, why would he not kill someone like Hinata?

I just had a question, does anyone know why he has the bones over the chakra. I have one theory, I heard someone mention that naruto would eventually find out about a bloodline he secretly had. I think he may be a descendent of the Kaguya clan (Kimmimaru from sound 5) with the dead bone pulse. Here is my reasoning,
1. mother was kushina uzumaki, from fomer whirlpool country, supposidly close to mist.
2. No known history of Kaguya clan, maybe mooved from whirlpool to mist, but she went to konoha.
3. Also look at the spoiler pic on his right leg, the bones is coming out of the chakra, maybe even from under his skin like Kimmimaru did with the bone spikes on body (influenced by Kyuubi) to take that shape.
4. Kaguya clan suspected to be blood thirsty clan, maybe must have a very close family member die to breed extreem emotional feeling such as hate. (not like orochimaru, I believe seeing someone just confess to you and SUPPOSEDLY die would do the trick). But we really dont know how Kaguya activated bloodline.NOW don’t call be stupid and ship I was just making a suggestionn from what it looks like in spoiler

I have some unanswered questions, such as.
- Where the bones come from? May the bones caused by the 6 tails? Or its like HokageNaruto18 says that Naruto have a bloodline like Kimimaro?
- Like 4 tails comes out, Naruto could not remember which is his friend which is his foe. I thought that Naruto will be destroyed the other villagers and shinobi in konoha if Yamato not come to save Naruto.
- What will Gai Sensei team do at this moment? Will they come and just watch Naruto anger?

When Eugeen faces Taguro in a match.. he killed Alfred to unleashed the power that’s inside Eugeen.. But then after the match Alfred is ALIVE…
I think Kishi do the same thing to unleashed the power that is inside naruto…
If you also notice the expresion of Pain when hinata said that she is willing to die for naruto.. THERE IS SOMETHING UNUSUAL..
Nah.. i dont think hinata is dead. Kishi just jeeded her to trigger the kayubi inside naruto. But definitely she wont die. And besides i’ve seen photos of them. Kissing and stuff. So they will end up together.
And if hinata die’s, im not gonna forgive kishi for doing that to her. I mean Hinata is 1 of the favorites. How could he kill her, and do something like that. And if hinata dies, im pretty sure naruto manga and the anime naruto will loose ranks.

And kishi is getting ideas from us. He’s actually reading our predictions to create some imaginations. And if people dont hinata dead, then i guess hinata is alive. We should all think outside the box sometimes.
I believe that the next step is the bones will take on the form of the kyuubi once they are finished forming. He will become a second kyuubi in a way.
Hinata may still be alive and the only one who can bring back to his senses.
I think that Hinata MAY not be dead and were seeing another tragedy in the making, I mean history can repeat itself,right? What if the naruto takes it all to the ninth tail?

Bones appeared on Naruto because he has almost achieved full transformation. i.e. When all the tails finally appear, the fox will also appear.
This has nothing to do with kimmimaru.
Eventually, I think Naruto will meet with KillerBee who will teach him how to live in harmony with the fox and so that these 2 will be able to make a deadly pair in battle.
As for the characters, I think some of them will be saved while some others might die. e.g. Pa will die and Ma will live. Kakashi might live but having lost his sharingan. Naurto will eventually kill mandara and give one of his eyes to Kakashi sensei.
I also think sakura still has to learn how to do a summon from Tsunade. What will she eventually be able to summon? The slug.
He prob. didn’t kill hinata, because he never felt love or something he has something good in his but we sont know what
Perhaps, as Naruto embodies to bring out all the tails, he might be able to do Humanlike Form when he draws out the 9th Tail ( as evident of the bones ).
It might be possible that he will gain control of the 9tails as the 8th tail jinchuuriki did of his.
Well I kinda love the idea of Naruto and Hinata ending up together. The idea of the two of them has been building up from the start. I kinda imagine some mushy stuff in the future chapters with the two of them having the time of their lives together.
I think alot of readers has the same idea as me. So yeah, killing Hinata would probobly loose alot or loyal and avid readers. I for one have been loosing interest due to all of the major characters getting killed, so losing someone like her is a very big blow.
About the kyuubi. i think its just a phase of the kyuubi. kindly remember that the 8 tailed beast manifested somehow as giant octopus when releaqsed, and that is because the ninja who hold the 8 tailed beast can already fully control the power, from the chapters that the akatsuki hunted the other tailed beast there were some instances there that the other beast actually looked like other forms of animal.
So far naruto cant control the kyuubi. and so far the kyuubi only seeps out of naruto, because of his emotions. and only a fraction of the kyuubi is getting out because of the seal. i think during all this time the kyuubi is just manifested as a visible chakra. but eventually once the full power of the kyuubi was released, that the kyuubi will have a physical form just like the others.
Well The Idea with bloodline is kind of interesting and that would explain the bones on kyuubi but, as we already know from storyline ,Bloodline appears at early age
as for naruto he is already 16 and there were no sighns of bloodline. as for Hinata it would be troublesome for kishi to let her live, I mean From the very beginning Naruto liked Sakura, now hinata confessed but if let Hinata live that would complicate things , it would be like love triangle

As for Kishi it`s deffinitly shown that he aint affraid of killing
main characters , as for Storyline there are some facts that were left.
1. before Jyraya vs Pain he released froglike seal saying that if he were to die the seal should go to Naruto ( so we dont know if he cant control kyuubi at all)
2. there is a letter written to hokage from Raikage (his ninjas are already dispached to deliver the letter and from their looks they aren`t weak(we dont know when they will come to Konoha ,they might as well already are observing the battle)
3.Killerbee ain`t caught therefore untill akatsuki will absorb 8-tails power there are no meaning of taking Naruto
4. Dont forget Danzou ( though he acts in interests of Konoha his ways are rough
5. Tsunade will Die, there are many facts that point at that listing them will be too much
6. As for Madaras Sharingan Vs Pains Rinnengan its hard to tell whos the real leader ( I think they dont care who is the leader, I think they have different goals but the best way to accomplish them is to work together

We all can’t forget that Itachi Uchiha gave Naruto half his power before leaving to fight Sasuke. (check that arc) The Sharingan was ultimately meant to control the Kyuubi. (explained by Mandara) and actually performed by Sasuke. Mandara could easily capture Naruto and the Nine-tails if he were to have gone after him. Mandara purposely sent Pein to get Naruto perhaps to get rid of him. So one of two things will happen Naruto will be able to control the Kyuubi by useing the power given to him by Itachi or like predicted before Sasuke shows up finds Konoha in ruins and is converted by this experiance, as his only aim last we saw him was to destroy Konoha. This already accomplished he might turn to defeat what is left of Pein. But, first he will calm the Kyuubi within Naturo after Yamato fails to do so. Hinata will Live.
My main curiosity is what is this “power” Itachi left Naruto? He did say it was to keep Sasuke in check. So will it be revealed until the next arc or now?
This is just shit, I cant belive the theory of so many of you… Ofc would’nt pain spare Hinata, because he is evil, but maybe the reason why she eventualy died is because it never was ment for her and Naruto to be together.
I hate myself for saying this because I also want her to be with naruto (screw sakura) but sometimes we have to face reality… or maybe she survives, wich would leave me so freaking happy.
Kakashi I hope is alive, but it would leave me with 2 expressions. 1. yay, cool he survived, the cool and powerful copy ninja kakashi. and 2. wtf that is so unreal, how can he survive when he gets a spine in his head? and tsunade even comfirmed he was dead, also naruto could sence it with his sage chakra sence thing. If he is not dead it would be unrealistic.
Also, why does the bones come out in Kyubi form? It has nothing to do with freaking kimimaro, it is just a phase he gets into while transforming gradualy into the 9-tail itself. And what is about the comment with a guy who thinks the 8-tail will come help naruto learn harmony with the beast????? do you think he himself is a harmonic person? Face it, that is never going to happen either.
Sorry for being a bit no optimistic, but you should try think a little realistic.
i dont hinata is dead is yet but i think this were naruto control kyuubi’s power bcos yamuto told that he has more power than thinks bcos he able hold the nine tailed fox in him also that he has 1 clone at frog mountain storing natural energy
if u guys remember, when naruto fought itachi…itachi’s crow’s came out of naruto’s mouth…itachi gave naruto the ability to use the bones…beacause itachi’s final attack consists of bones….a full exoskeleton.
Wewll, I remeber reading back in the manga somewhere that it was Minato’s intention for the Kyuubi and Naruto to fuse. That is what the “key” is for. If Naruto used the “key” or not is the question. I have no clue, but Minato seperated the Yin and Yang chakras of the Kyuubi so maybe the bones are the good chakra while the red is bad. It also is the same color as the chakra balls used for the Youkai Cannon (skill used against oreochimaru, heh heh.) That or maybe Kishi is gonna make Naruto an Arrancar….

I think Hinata’s going to die if she’s not dead already. If Kishi is really sadistic then he’ll transform her into a Pain later in the series, but I doubt it.

personally i think that the bones make refer to the power that itachi gave naruto. the bones kind look like the ones from Susanoo.
Here is where i made a wild guess at what bones mean, we know that the sharingun has the power to control the tailed beasts. so lets say that this is the power that itachi gave naruto, the ablitiy to control the 9tail. the power would only become active after the demon’s charka was activated. And there fore the power would manifest itself as the bones.
Plus i think this is supported by the comment itachi made when he gave the power to naruto “i hope you will never have use it.” Now, think why would itachi say to never use the power. It suggests the power has something dangerous about it, and since we all know it is dangerous for naruto to use the demon’s charka, that statement would make perfect sense.
I’m one that also goes for a Naruto-Hinata love team, or something of that sort. And as much as I hate it, I believe Kishi has indeed killed Hinata on this issue
The reason, I think is that Kishi wants to get rid of Hinata because he may want to settle for a Naruto-Sakura love team in the end… ? I don’t know, All I know is I hate the fact that Hinata should suddenly risk her life even knowing that she would be able to stop Pein anyway.
I believe a lot of Naruto readers would rather want Naruto and Hinata ending up together right? Just think of what they’d produce in the future if they really end up together.. a child who can go into Sage Mode with Byakugan eyes.. now that would really be awesome eh?
I think Hinita blocked the attack, to see how Pain’s chakra works(flowed),and, she knew how it would affect Naruto, and get him mad and save the ninja world. How dose she “block” the attack,?? you migth ask, How the heck not, bloodline, hello??
This is shaping like the classic scene:Maito Gai and his team,Kiba,Hyugas,…etc will blame Naruto.His friends won’t stand for him because they didn’t knew he has Kiubii sealed in him.Naruto will be faint after the kiubbii transformation and,when he wakes up,he is told everyone wants to kill him for what he has done to the village and that Tsunade,to prevent chaos,will banish him from the village ( or danzo,if Tsunade dies ).then,or Danzo or the elders will tell the other countries that the kiubii is sealed in Naruto and that is growing stronger.Everyone will hunt him down.He travels a lot untill he is found by the Raikage’s men and is brought to him.There he is sheltered from Akatsuki,because the Raikage knows what will happen if they get Naruto.However,he finds about the raikage’s killing intents towards sasuke and runs.He learns rumours that Sasuke is going to destroy the village.Then,the last frame before timeskip appears,with Naruto saying:Konoha is MINE!And you don’t know if he wants to destroy it or protect it.
This is the general.If Kishi thought all this all the way while doing the manga,he’s a genious.
First of all…Hinata is not dead. The author can’t just go around randomly killing off significant characters…that can’t be good for anyone.
Second…I think as more tails are formed the more Naruto takes complete form of the nine-tails until the 9th…hence the bones forming.
I also think Pain is still gonna beat the crap out of the nine-tails Naruto

people…he already killed kakashi, i mean… ONCE YOU KILL KAKASHI, who, i’m sorry but IS DEFINITIVELY more popular and relevant to the story than hinata, who btw has appeared in like 3 chapters of shippuden so far, then hinata is OBVIOUSLY dead. I mean, people, open your eyes, shizune, jiraiya, kakashi, possibly chouji’s dad are all dead, and tsunade is not very far from being dead, and COME ON, it’s pain!! we’re talking about someone who just tore konoha apart guys, so seriously? hinata alive?
Besides, to all of you, NaruxHina lovers, get real people, Naruto loves Hinata just as much as he loves his friends but nowhere in the storyline so far has he ever felt something more for her. He’s after sakura, you guys. I’m not specially rooting for naruxsaku cuz i just couldn’t get over sasuke bailing on konoha and that broke my heart in little pieces so now i kinda maintain my distance from all that pair shipping, but COME ON, when they fought orochimaru and kabuto and naruto got all GRRR ROAR IM THE KYUUBI, sakura already looked at him differently and it was so obvious that yamato pointed it out. That pair is set to go and hinata’s love is evidently unrequired. YES, it’s a shame and it hurt you all BUT ITS DA TRUTH. Sasuke didn’t love sakura and it hurted like shit but we all got over it so now try getting passed this ok? Now, even if for some lame reason Hinata revives (which frankly is just so DBZ) i’m sure she’ll find someone else. Whatever. DAMMIT KAKASHI IS DEAD T_T i don’t care anymore.
I have a few things to point out:
1) The more tails Naruto grows, the more he becomes like the Kyuubi. Therefore, the bones are made of chakra, just like his skin, and they are there because he has six tails.
2) Naruto is not a Kaguya. He has no hidden bloodline.
that’s very stupid of people, i mean, loosing interest in the whole manga just because hinata gets killed. Naruto was about frienship so we all could get to know the character and the ninja world but it all was an introduction to shippuden, who is about war, and war is about sacrifices.

I don´t want to belive that Hinata is dead, but if she is perhaps naruto will use the power of the nine tails to heal her. Just as it has done for him when he suffered both minor and life threatning injuries. If that is the case then we may see them both truely together. Also, has anyone noticed that Hinata is the first person to tell Naruto I love you something no one has ever told out loud…. My personal opinion Kishi is not going to kill her I think it would not make since at all, not after there are so many hints that would bring those two together and the biggest fact being that there are more NaruHina fans than there is NaruSaku, and of course witers like to see how there fans react and comment on there work.
As far as the bones comment its just like a shell, for each shell there is a different appearance and shape. If he reaches the 9th tail he well fully become the kyuubi and things well become extremly bad for all those around and especially for Pain.
The next comment made was what Itachi gave him, I belive it has to do when the time comes when Naruto has to face off against Susake and to have some kind of an advantage against the sharingon.
OK so Naruto has 6 tails, that means the Kyubi is allmost free (after the bones would come the muscles and the skin, but probably that wont happen). Now if you all remmber Itachi gave a “gift” to Naruto and since the Uchiha clan has the power to control the Kyubi, that gift must be that abillity.
So what I’m saying is that eventually Naruto will be able to control the Fox and Kill god pain, While the team Gai find Nagato and maybe stop him and Konan.
I belive that most of the people that where killed are actually death, i mean, if Kishi killed jirayja, why not kakashi, Pa and hinata? and most of readers expect that they’re still alive just like Chouji’s father, but that would be to much of a predictable happy ending and knowing Kishi he will surprise us with something a little harder to accept (just like Jirayja’s death).
Now about some predictions that I’ve read over the network, there are some people that belive Sasuke is coming to help. Let me remind them that he is still injured because of he’s battle with the 8 tails, so he’s not coming. what might happen is that the ninjas the Raykage sent to konoha will arrive to the battlezone when everything is over and when the people of konoha are back on their feet they’re gonna start a search for Sasuke (again). On the other hand, Sasuke’s intention have allways been to kill Madara but he is not powerfull enough, so that fight might be sasuke and Naruto vs Madara, and after they defeat him naruto and Sasuke are going to have thier last fight to see who is the stronger. THE END
so all that might happend and much morebut it’s pretty clear that naruto has to control the kyubi sometime soon, and the story repeats (I mean the fight between Naruto and Sasuke will be the same as the firsth and madara) but this time there wont be a side that resent the other
And about the loving part, Naruto is too concetrate in the search for sasuke and protecting Konoha so he doesn’t have time for girls, even if he has allways liked Sakura, something with her will never happend, but he wont be with Hinata(IF she still alive) cause if he can choose a girl he’s gonna choose Sakura.
For the record, I really hope that kakashi is still alive, he is one of the coolest character ever.
That could be the case that the bones are a transformation, but I thought the chakra was the kyuubi transformation (ie he has six chakra tails). The same would apply to Killerbee, I think the octopus was also a chakra construct. The reason I proposed the theory of the bloodline if you look at the next frames after the 4-tailed state. There is a slide showning the bones coming out of his cheek from under the chakra. Thats why I don’t think its the kyuubi transformation. BUT, in reality either option is plausible, we will just have to wait to find out.

The bones are the Kyuubi chakra starting to reject Narutos skeletal structure just like it did to his skin!
Kishi will most likely kill off Hinata because he does not want to please all of us Naru x Hina fans.
The only way she can survive is if Itachi’s gift allows Naruto to control the Kyuubi so he doesn’t accidentally finish the job! Or someone really fast rescues her…!
However, realize that no one has ever said they love Naruto, EVER! Naruto although more accepted by his team and others, has only reaceived true affection from Jiraiya (a little, but not obvious)/ Tsunade (a little, but not obvious); Eruka Sensei, all that Ramen… But the only person that has reallly really loved him is Hinata and she said it, maybe this has some value that keeps our beloved Hinata-sama from dieing.
I hate to admit, but although all Naruto fans that are not complete jerk-offs love her, she is not a major character, she only has like three appearances in Shippuden.

I say this if Hinata lives it would be a pretty cool story, but she has to be hospitalized or something and cant join anymore fights. So there she will be waiting for Naruto to return as he goes off to beat up the final foes that are left. Also Sasuke has the knowledge of where Madara is hiding out at, but of course Naruto and Saskue has to fight before that to see what Itachi gave him. We also still have the team the Raikage sent out heading over. But if Hinata dies it just seemed kinda empty and a waste of a character to be developed. Still disappointed that she went out all quick showing after all this time she just never seems to win what was the point to have her see Naruto off as he goes train for all those years and all that training she did with Neji??? Well whatever if she dies it will give Sakura less competition, seems like a low blow though.
if you ask me she would die and thus making naruto more determined to beat akatsuki and wats with all you hinata fans all of a sudden. you didnt care about here in the other arcs. Also would naruto just fall in love with her because she confessed. Wat about him. he has only thought of friendship with her nothing more and theres also more narusaku fans then naruhina. And as someone said before me how can she survive when shes a chunin and jiraiya was a sannin and kekkaishi was a jounin

By my opinion, this is all one big Genjutsu, if you remember sharingan’s most powerful weapon is Genjutsu, if Rinegan is the strongest eye tehniqe, the Genjutsu will be biggest. And beside Jirayia, I think everybody else is a live, and village is still there untouched. This would be the best end for this chapter of Naruto vs Pain.

My two cents…
1. Remember that according to Jiraiya… Naruto can only control upto three tails… with six tails already out I would like to see how Naruto can maintain his sanity… I have yet to see the power of the crystal that Tsunade gave to Naruto.. if I remember it right, the 1st hokage used the same crystal to control other jincchuri….
2. Itachi’s gift to Naruto may not be to control the Kyuubi… but its probably to prevent Sasuke or Madara from taking control of the Kyuubi.. it could something like a protection but may probably cause his life…
3. As for Hinata, i think she is not dead. I think she has a plan… She probably wanted to get closer to Pain to see how he is channeling the chakra… she maybe have a bigger role here than just show her love to Naruto and then die…
4. Kakashi will be revived and will be named Hokage… Tsunade as a Medical Ninja might have a way to transfer her life force to Kakashi.. like the elder from the Sand village… This i think is not impossible for Tsunade…

In regards to Naruto V Pein, one option that is possible is that Pein may retreat, leaving Naruto in his angered state to slaughter his kinsmen. This would be the best tactile thing to do.
The other option being Naruto and Pein duke it out in a cool flashy fight, meanwhile Pein is found by the guy who cooks naruto ramen, or some other random person in town. Combat Konan attacks, but is met by a Dynamic Entry!
As for Hinata? Probably dead. Most animes dont kill off major characters so fast. Kish did say he wasnt guna end it like any ole anime… *shrug*
Other possibilities? Gaara could intervine at some point? Killerbee could rescue a injured naruto, whisk him away somewhere to teach him how to use his power? Hinata could become one of Peins body’s (ultra fast peircing skills ftw!)? *shrug*
Well first im prayin and hopein hinata is alive she one of the coolest charcters ever made.
2nd i believe that she needs to be alive for the reason that in the beggining sasuke always cared for sakura i mean he almost hesitated when she came to stop him plus when the sound genin hurt sakura sauke went nuts and broke the arms of zaku and when she told him to stop he calmed down. that means its gonna be a saskue sakura ending some how.also i believe hardworkers always stay together that means its gonna be a naruto hinata ending.
3rd also the theory of a bloodline in naruto is crazy i mean cmon it would have showed already if he had.um i think that the power itatchi gave naruto was to control the kyubi i mean its the only thing that makes sense this is the first time naruto change in a long time so the skull could actually be the power to control and also a look of almost turning demon9 hr well tats wat i can think of now hope to see u all soon

About the bones, there are two ways I think they could have possibly came about:
1. They are the gift from Itachi to give Naruto control of the Kyuubi (which I highly doubt).
2. They are a further manifestation of the Kyuubi.
About Hinata….she’s not really my main concern at this point. I have no idea if she’s dead or not, and I’m not going to wrack my mind over it. I do think she is still alive though. I feel that if she were to be dead, kishi would have shown us that she was dead. The whole scene was too guessy (I know that’s not a word).
Also, someone earlier made a point about the 8 tails. I FULLY AGREE. WHY WOULD THE AUTHOR SHOW THAT THE 8 TAILS HAS COMPLETE CONTROL OF HIS BEAST? WHY WASN’T THE 8 TAILS CAPTURED? This is forshadowing to how Naruto will be able to live in complete control with his beast. Someone mentioned earlier that the 9 tails will not allow this. I’m sure the same could have been said for the 8 tails until the jinchurriki figured out how to live in harmony with him. This is the reason why the 8 tails was not successfully captured by Sasuke. His purpose is to teach Naruto how to live in harmony with his jinchurriki.
This is why I doubt that those bones are a gift from Itachi. I think that Naruto is going to be crazy in this next chapter. I think his ability to rationalize will be gone; however, I think we will see the Kyuubi’s mind emerging and maybe even speaking. He just won’t be at full power since it will not be a complete transformation. I think the this next fight will be more between the Kyuubi (trying to keep Naruto alive) and Pein rather than Pein and the Kyuubi. The Kyuubi will probably thank Pein for what he did, but he will not allow Pein to take his power.
it’s possible that the bones signify a higher level of completion of the kyubi… remember in the appearance of the first 3 tails naruto just had a “cloak” of the kyubi’s chakra. then in the fourth one, naruto turned into a small version of the kyubi… probably the in this sixth one, kishi is showing a more complete transformation (a bigger and meaner kyubi)… go naruto… kick pein’s buns! lolz!
I believe that Hinata has to live and the part where she said she loved him was the best part in this series in romance.
Kakashi is dead thats a fact due to the fact that both naruto and tsunada have confirmed it. Choji’s father is going to make it and hinata. Naruto already knows that sakura loves sasuke and theres nothing to change that which is why there working hard to get him back.
The bones is part of the transformation of the nine tailed fox it just shows its closer to manifestation.
Im not sure what sasuke’s goal is now because his goal was to destroy konoha and thats already been done.
The fact that everyone will know about the fox now won’t change there attitude towards naruto because i’m pretty sure they already had an idea like when neji saw inside naruto and saw the face of the fox.

the fact that Sakura loves Sasuke ain`t clear it was in Childhood 3-4 years have passed and the feelings towards naruto changed , remmember the part when Naruto turned into 4 tail-ed beast after fight with orochimaru, Yamato told somthing to Sakura Chapater 296-297 or so… so Sakura Does Love Naruto but she cant realise it, well the prediction for 438 is that Kyuubi will go on a rampage, it`s just we dont know how will kishi decide whether Naruto will be able to control it or not

This is funny to see Hinata fans suffer and those who dont care about her showing how cold they can be. Me I really dont care I just didn’t like how cheaply some of these characters been dying lately seems rushed to me, especially shizune that was too cheap.
Here’s my thoughts…
Look to Kishi’s past use of Hinata in the series. There are at least 2 times where Hinata is placed in a life or death situation that I can think of off the top of my head.
1. The Bikochu mission – Hinata is used as a trigger for the Kyuubi (if only temporary) because you wouldn’t have gotten the same reaction from Naruto if you put Kiba or Shino in that situation.
2. The Crystal Style – Hinata is encased in the crystal, which had killed everything before minus 1 bug. Hinata miraculously lives because of excellent chakra control (aparently amazing because she’s the first person to live through it).
With just these 2 situations Kishi could have killed Hinata off easily but didn’t. Here’s why I think this is….
Although Naruto isn’t a love manga, there are still aspects to the Naruto-verse that require hints at relationships to develope the characters as a whole. That being said there are 2 primary ‘love’ interests for Naruto, Sakura and Hinata.
Naruto is also about values. You see it time and time again in this manga. Perseverance through adversity, be true to yourself, always be true to your word, work hard for what you want, never give up, and so on.
Ok…so here it is….
As far as love interests + values go…you have Sakura, who was shallow and mean to Naruto through pretty much the entire first series, who suddenly may have an attraction to Naruto after he’s now grown (and Sasuke’s not around). Then you have Hinata, who was always “in love” with Naruto, who finally gets the courage to tell him that (this is the point she’s essentially saying “I’m not weak anymore”). If you stick to the value theme alone then Naruto should end up with Hinata…However, that doesn’t guarantee she’s going to live.
Additionly, If we take a character like Hinata who has always been considered weak. Someone who always worked hard and tried to make herself better and apply the same values then it goes without saying that she shouldn’t be “removed”. Remember, Hinata’s dream is to stop the cycle of hate and separation in her clan…she can’t do that dead.
So with all this in mind I’m pretty positive that Hinata isn’t dead.
What’s that you say…..you want more evidence? Ok.
Kishi leaves the opening for Hinata to live in Chapter 437.
1.) First and foremost Hinata is hidden from view as she is being “stabbed”…….Check back with all the other people who have died recently (Jiraiya, Kakashi, Shizune) and you will find that you SEE them getting killed (manga way of closure).
2.) Right before Pein “stabs” Hinata, his eyes look up at Naruto….Here’s a little leap of faith, but Hinata’s hurt but not dead at that point so it may be presumed that she moved to avoid a fatal injury or hell even used the kwarmi with a water bushin (remember she’s a water type)…that “blood” may actually be water.
3.) In all the predictions I haven’t seen 1….NOT 1….mention of what happened to Katsuyu who was with Naruto. Hmmm imagine that, everyone is so caught up with 6 tails Naruto that they didn’t think about the little summon Tsunade left with Naruto. Who, might I add, may still have energy left from Tsunade’s “creation rebirth”.
All in all, I would say it is now highly unlikely that Hinata is actually dead. It doesn’t make sense and there’s no proof.
My theory is this….to show that Hinata has inded become stronger, we will see her again shortly (calming Naruto down). Here’s what happened in the fight……….
Hinata was hit by the Shinra Tense and kwarmi’d with a water clone (remember water clones use less chakra than kage bushin) in the midst of being pushed to the ground—–Anyone remember Naruto’s fight with Neji and how he won? ahhhhhhh, the light comes on.
When pein stabs Hinata she turns to water, thus you see the pike with fluid on it later, and the body disolves. Pein plays a ruse and saying “this is how Konoha killed my parents” blah blah blah to push Naruto’s anger/pain…..Thus……”BUT…MY PAIN IS GREATER THAN YOURS” is the final line, because Naruto hasn’t lost her…yet.
Feel free to tear me a new one. I just haven’t seen anyone take this stance yet and I’d bet it’s fairly accurate.
i would say pain did not kill hinata becaus he can´t!! if you think logically then nagatos best friend yahiko is a lifeless puppet of nagato, i think yahiko died protecting nagato , and then nagato becomes insane and created this plan!!! and when pain saw hinata protecting naruto he got a littlebit sad becaus he remembered how yahiko gave his live for him, and he showed naruto the pain he felt. thats what i think

Actually I think Hinata is alive for one simple reason:
Pain – to cause as much pain as possible.
Pain to naruto = killing friend in front of him
Pain to hinata = Knowing she couldn’t help naruto (because pain thinks he has it in the bag).
Hence causing as much pain to everyone.

Pft, Hinata’s dead guys, get over it. I personally thought this was a brilliant chapter. Hinata’s my least favorite character, by FAR and she deserved a retarded death. Naruto’s in love with Sasuke, he just won’t admit it to himself yet.

well here are some ideas
- He might be in the middle of forming a real kyuubi (for example, when he became a 4 tails and was surrounded by blood he showed that he wasn’t in charge of his actions showing a definate influence of the kyuubi)
- Naruto has his own bloodline, he has showed to have an enduring chakra ( meaning that he has a lot of it and not necessarily from the kyuubi). His mother was from the whirlpool country so what if Naruto’s father came up with rasengan based on naruto’s mother’s clan jutsu or relating it to the whirlpool country (whirlpool = spinning = rasengan). In itself, there is an uzumaki clan. Also bloodline jutsus result from the founder’s actions (an example is uchiha’s affinity for fire was developed over time)
-Hinata might not be dead however, due to Naruto’s outrageous chakra we might see a repeat of what happened to sakura on the bridge when she was injured. (never think theres death unless you see the body)
- also if naruto looses the ninetail he might be able to counteract the effects of loosing the chakra by substituting it with sage chakra. also he is incredibly enduring so he might survive if he looses the ninetails.
crapo would be correct. The bones are there because as the number of tails progresses, so does the amount that the Nine-Tailed Fox is unleashed.
My guess would be that upon unlocking seven tails, the muscles will appear, eight tails will be flesh, and nine tails will be the complete fox.
I also hope that Hinata is not dead, though I don’t believe she is. I’ve always preferred happy endings, and I like Hinata a lot. I would love to see her and Naruto settle down at the end of the manga if in fact things end up in that position.
and no one can defeat Sasuke or control him not even Naruto, except sakura. 6-tails Naruto vs Pain is gonna rock, but dont forget that a group of Konoha shinobis are headed to Pain’s location, do they might force him to retreat.
I think Yamato is no longer able to stop Naruto with his jutsu, so someone else has to step in and stop him. Who is gonna be? Maybe Sasuke (a far shot) or even Sakura.

I would like to believe that Hinata is not dead, but from what is shown to the readers, it is seemingly so that she is no longer alive. Anyway, that was the most intense, most suspenseful, and most romantic scene in the series of Naruto. I do hope she is not dead though. Hopefully, there was some sort of miracle…

I think that Naruto will unleashed all the tails because the kyuubi will keep pouring his power into Naruto. When all tails are unleashed the kyuubi would be unleashed. Pain eventually dies and Madara and Sasuke arrive and see konaha destoryed. The Kyuubi would then be then fully released I think killing Naruto. After that Madara would use his eternal sharingan to control the kyuubi. Madara and Sasuke then leave with Sasuke showing some emotion over the destroyed konaha. Naruto then would be revived by Tsunade or someone killing that person. Now Naruto no longer has the Kyuubi awakes. Realizing that all the people who have died because the Akatsuki. He then set off to find Madara and Sasuke and finish the Akatsuki.
I’ll be brief:
-Yes she was stabbed by pein, but he avoided her vital organs.
-The rod which he stabbed her- with, conducts chacra
-She manages to inmovalize him with her chacra
- Naruto killm=s the 5th body (pein)

Come on people! It is so obvious. Don’t you guys remember when n the kyubii fought against orochimaru. He never moved! The chakra was so intense on narutos body, he was not able to move. However, with 6 tails now unleashed, a skeleton has formed to mold with the chakra to put the fox in motion! Who knows, he may even grow fur around it or something. You guys know this is a good explanation, and I’m pretty sure I am correct!

I honestly don’t believe that Kishimoto would REALLY kill off Hinata. I think that he is using her supposed death as a way to justify bringing out all of the Kyubi’s power. I agree with other fans that there may be an instance where Hinata is the only one who can bring Naruto to his senses before he goes on a mindless rampage.
I think naruto doesnt stand a chance against pein even in nine tail form i also think that pein has a trick up his sleeve because he could have killed naruto a long time ago but he needs him alive for the ritual pein is super confident in all his actions and from what i can see never fails in my opinion he has one of the strongest if not the strogest villiage with all their ninjas in shambles and i bet we havent seen all his jutsus in deva path so watch out for pein because even if he does fail his not going out without a fight maybe him and konan will have to flee if worst comes to worst but i do not think the head of the akatsuki will not lose i bet pein knows when to hold em’ and knows when to fold em
I think that naruto will meet up with killerbee and killerbee will teach how to workk with the nine tails then naruto will learn how to use the ninetails charkra along with natural energy
I know Kishi is only trying to show just how evil, twisted, merciless and malicious Pain is. WE GET THE MEMO KISHI! No more killing off important people…next thing we know Naruto himself would be dead and buried…
Adding on to my previous comment, I also believe that, as an alternate to Naruto going on a mindless rampage, he controls the Kyubi. I think that the power that Itachi granted Naruto is what the Sharingan was originally intended for, namely, to keep the Kyubi in check. This means that Naruto could stabilize himself, call out his other sage mode clone, and defeat Yahiko/Pain. I think it will be interesting to see where Team Guy ties into all of this. It would be neat if they end up confronting Kohan and Nagato. Also, to everyone who is griping about Kakashi’s death over Hinata’s, I think that Naruto faces Kakashi’s death with calm acceptance because he can’t afford to get emotional right before the fight with Pain. After Jiraiya’s death, Naruto got really depressed, so the same should go for Kakashi. However, Naruto has a much greater response to Hinata’s SUPPOSED death for two reasons: she just confessed her love for him, and he is in the heat of battle. So, I hate that Kakashi is gone, but I honestly don’t think that Hinata is dead.

remember neji “almost died”and the guy had a for sure hit on his “vital organs”… yet he managed to just barely avoid it hitting vital organs by using his chakra.

remember him working with the demon is KEY to him being able to face sasuke or madora, otherwise there genjutsu is a one hit wonder to end the fight. Also being able to avoid or survive the black fire justsu will play a big role.

Now my further predictions are for Naruto series manga editions
1) Team Gai will have a big role in 2 ways:- Firstly, they can play a big role in discovering the secret behind the key left by Jiraiya (Might not be possible due to presence of many other imp. chars.)
Secondly, Pein somehow incapacitates Naruto of Kyuubi and Team gai takes on pein until naruto recovers and the reason for key is found out. (While Naruto fights, they would be busy finding out info from Gamakichi (or whatever the frog’s name is)about what had happened by then). The reason for them to fight Pein is too obvious:- their anger over the death of hinata ((assumed) for Neji) and Kakashi ((assumed) for Gai as in how he always had a competiton with him).
2) We all are forgetting about KONAN, she is a akatsuki member and probably might turn out to be the controller of pein as the rest of them are merely dead bodies recievin chakra (too far sighted). As it is every one is quite eager to be in disguise (Madara as Tobi).
One way or the other KONAN is bound to be involved in a big way in terms of a fight or a strtegic comeback to revenge pein. ( she might also be the one restricting Team Hawk form reaching konoha)
3) Pein will be overcomed. Then what ????? I dont see sasuke or tobi interfering in Konoha so easily and early. Also with Jiraiya and toads gone, how & in what will Naruto train further???? We gotta have our hero more powerful in order to defeat the likes of Sasuke and Tobi.
From the info available till now, Naruto can train himself in 2 ways (in same order):- Firstly, With killer Bee, to control Kyubi and use its power agains the intended enemies.
Though this requires a bigger enemy than Pein, which I foresee in sasuke. Ok Sasuke has encountered Kyubi in past, but guys come on, I mean it was really to project the enormous capability of Sasuke really and also he was not in a fight and all sasuke did was to look through Kyubi in naruto.
Secondly, the way I foresee it, after the fight with sasuke ( with naruto emerging victorious), Sasuke gives his sharingan eyes to Naruto (the way Kakashi had it) and dies. Now Naruto already has powers from Itachi, which he uses now, to improve his sharingan (develop amaterasu and wat not). However I think he meight need someone to train him and who else can take up the task in a better way other than Kakashi who, for this reason, I still see alive, but not as hokage due to the presence of Danzo, who in turn might show his negative shades in order to prolong or strech the events a little (just to make it a little difficult).
With this power Naruto finally avenges Madara ( for misleading sasuke).
Although in above Sasuke and madara might replace each other but I severely doubt that as Madara can control Kyubi pretty easily.
Please let me know your views on this theory. By the time, lets keep watching our fav. series to find out how much accurate/compatible we are with Kishi.

in my contribution i will say that the writer of Naruto wants to put things very interesting when facing Mr Pein. They won’t just give you just some Kik @$$ plotting but some insite of what both wanted to achieved. For Naruto , his Demon Control and Mr. Pein His Peace. Also In this Manga There was a mention of a beast which could bring Uttermost destruction with all the extraction of the tailed beasts power. Even so to keep things in popularity, maybe the beast will have some role play in kombat with Naruto and His New found power. Although it seems Negato is the one to use this beast, The real mastermind madora will be the one to awakened the unfinished beast to bring a more realistic battle on the market. naruto has been over several years, and cannot go down to lower level battles, so expect some very complications in further episodes. I don’t think Mr. Pein will go down in history without his Name in it. Also i believed the writer has something in store for Master Naruto. Naruto in this Manga will earn the utermost respect due to how it started and what he achieved. The Best in Chackra,Techniques,Skills, and his Girls(Saskue or Hinata ??). i believed this is just a taste of what Naruto will be able to accomplished in his development process. I don’t know what is stored yet bcause i know his body will be bitterly damaged due to the six tailed transformation plus his life will be shortened due to tears of cells in his transstate.

Fairly simple. Pain is far too advanced to fall for the “kawarimi with a waterclone” and his Rinnegan would likely see through that anyways. True, I understand that Rinnegan isn’t adequately explained, but I suspect that it can see into the soul of an individual- and if a target doesn’t have a soul, he’ll know immediately. Especially since he seems to be able to use his chakra to control an uninhabited body through those piercings. But this isn’t the reason that I say Hinata is dead.
The reason is that, now that she has confessed her love to Naruto and he understands everything that has involved her since they first knew each other, the proper emotional tension has been introduced for the readers and for Naruto to really want to cut loose on Pain. All vestiges of sympathy for his tragic past are gone now, in the reader’s eyes, so while his motivations are understandable, they are no longer condoned by anyone reading. At this point, Hinata serves no further use except to heighten the emotional pangs for the aftermath. The only means by which to do this in the story without cheapening it is for her to die. Period. Crippling is meaningless- Tsunade survives the battle. Can’t have her go all emo or anything- goes completely against her character. Even Konoha can be rebuilt. The only way for the emotional timbre of the story to be maintained is for virtually everyone close to Naruto to be dead by the end of the fight, then Madara to show up with the rest of Akatsuki. Naruto will be exhausted and emotionally drained from the battle, will be overpowered by Akatsuki, only to be rescued by Sasuke from Akastsuki because he’s been using them all along. Blah Blah blah.
At this point one of two things will happen.
1) Naruto will fight against Sasuke because really, this is what the entire manga has been about- elitism versus hard work and determination. Naruto will win, because his name is on the manga cover. Afterwards, Sakura will confess her love to Naruto after coming to an epiphany that Sasuke isn’t really what she wanted all this time after all, just recognition, and Naruto had given her recognition after all, thus making Sakura the bone that Kishimoto throws to the fans to say, “See? It’s a happy ending. Honest.” Then Naruto takes over for Tsunade. yippee. End of Story.
2) Naruto and Sasuke fight and it’s a draw so close that, while Sasuke is killed, Naruto dies or is close to dying, at which point Sakura will attempt to use Chiyo’s ressurection technique- because let’s face it, Sakura is almost certain to want to learn something that can bring back the dead, regardless of consequence. She uses it on Naruto, dies herself, and Naruto no longer hosts the Kyuubii because it died with him the first time. Sakura dead, Kyuubii dead, most of Konoha is dead, Naruto likely leads the survivors back to the remains of Whirlpool and revives the Uzumaki clan as Uzukage or whatever. The revival of the destroyed village of Naruto’s heritage is the bone Kishimoto throws the fans to say, “See? It’s a happy ending. Honest.”
I liked Naruto right up until the point where Sai started to try to become more “human” despite the fact that it’s entirely against how a real human being (Raised and trained the way he was) would react. Kishimoto stopped letting the story flow and tried to force it to his idea of whatever message it is he’s trying to convey at this point; from the aforementioned time onwards it’s been mostly garbage. I’m finishing reading the manga mostly out of morbid curiousity to see if MAYBE I’ve misjudged Kishimoto and he still has a REAL surprise waiting for us, not merely some entirely predictable “twist” that leaves us all yawning and completely underwhelmed. I’m desperately hoping he can pull this out of the dustbin… but I’m not holding my breath.
Maybe I should stick to reading fanfiction- at least some of the fan fic authors out there can portray people and events in a believable fashion. Some of them.

Two Points to discuss on my end…..I didn’t get to read all the comments but a lot of interesting theories. First thought on the bones that Naruto has as 6 tail Kyuubi, I remember in some past chapter Jiraya is discussing with Kakashi and Yamato that he looks like a Miniature Kyuubi when he has 4 tails, so I figure the more tails he’s got the closer he is to morphing into the actual fox? Maybe six tails shows the actual bones of the kyuubi? A full Nine tails would actually be the fox in the flesh. Just a theory……and as far as Hinata goes they can’t just kill her off, Sakura loves Sauske anyway it’s always been that way, she appreciates naruto a lot (now). Hinata is meant to be with Naruto, he can’t take Sakura who treats him like seconds.

First off: As people were saying, I highly doubt Naruto has any relation to Kimimaru and his clan.
Secondly: The pictures that another person saw of Naruto and Hinata kissing are not real, they are more likely fanfics or the sort.
My thoughts are the bones are just showing the Fox becoming more and more of an actual fox, and when the tails hit 9, bam you have the Kyuubi.
My friend was going on to believe that Susanoo had some sort of influence with the bones, considering Susanoo was skeleton-like and we have yet to see what power Itachi gave to Naruto (which I think is some sort of control over the Kyuubi, since that is one thing the Uchiha clan could do). But I doubt this.

Pain will easily aviod anything the six tails can throw at him, considering his expression, and also dont forget, 4-tail naruto could not finish orochimaru, but came close. Pain is 10x stronger than Oro, so i think he will be more than a match for 6 Tails.
Pain will be told by Zetsu or madara that the 8-tails is not captured yet, so therefore there is no need to catch him yet. Pain will retreat, and instead of pain, the village will have to deal with 6-tails. Ino’s father will find the real pain, and finish him off while he is retreating, and madara will go after naruto as soon as kisame finds killer-bee, and captures him. All this will lead down to a final fight i hope
all you guys are saying, “Hinatas not dead! Kishi would never kill such a popular character”, but remember, he did just kill kakashi and jirya, and they wre my favorite, so he could if he relly wanted to
I like the idea of that Itachi’s gift is the power to control the Kyubi using a fraction of Mangekyo’s power. The bones are made of chakra, just like the skin. It’s just a condensation of chakra, similar to turning chakra into fire or water jutsu, but it’s bones instead…

I’ve seen the spoilers, and she’s not dead…. yet… She’s still on the ground, whispering, “Naruto-kun.” So… yeah… BUT, I think Naruto is going to be too late and she slips off into unconsciousness, BUT I think Naruto will probably master the Kyuubi’s power and revive her. As for Sasuke and Madara, Itachi said Sasuke is easily colored, so I personally think he will rediscover himself and help Naruto and Co. defeat Madara.

Asuma, Jirya, Kakashi, Shizune, the 3rd hokage (sarutobi I think…). They all are “older generation”! Hinata probably wont die because she is younger generation! I think that Naruto’s gonna kick pain’s @$$ in 6th tail mode… pain has less chakra than normal and 4th tail Naruto can almost kill orochimaru 6th is 1.5x that so naruto gonna win. I’m not sure whether she will live or die, but to answer everyone’s questions on the 6 tail’s bones, I believe it goes something like this:
Those bones are the first step toward the structure of the nine tails. If he were to go 7 or 8 tails, muscle would form over it, and if he went 9 tails, the skin would form, thus making it complete.
So, nobody can be sure if Hinata’s dead or alive, but I guess we have to think like Pein: Hinata just confessed her love to Naruto: nobody’s EVER said they loved him, so that would be the perfect trigger for the tailed demon. But in another way, Pein said he doesn’t kill anybody who doesn’t have a purpose for dying or something, and Naruto couldn’t see from the angle he was at. She’s probably near death, so Pein could be faking it. Then again, she just stood in the way, so it’s really impossible to tell at this point.
My question is: What does this mean for couples? Before I saw this chapter, I was a rabid KibaHina fan. But thanks to this, if Hinata lives, Naruto CANNOT ignore what he heard, and if she dies, than both NaruHina AND KibaHina are out.
